Muir Ortho Coronavirus update

COVID-19 Appointment and Visitor Policy

Dear Patients,
Our highest priority is always the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. In response to the Coronavirus risk, we have updated our appointment policies. If you have a current appointment or wish to make one, please read the points below and take the recommended steps. Also please note our temporary visitor policy.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we play our part to keep our communities safe. As cities and facilities are making decisions hourly, this update will be amended as new information arises.

Friday March 20th update (7:25pm)

Today we released a video to let our cherished patients know that as an essential healthcare services provider, we are here if you need us.

Also today we took the difficult decision to temporarily close some of our offices, just until things get back to normal. We hope to re-open them soon.

Our current facility schedules are shown below:

Muir Orthopaedics temporary hours during COVID-19

If you have an appointment at any of: Concord, San Ramon or on the 3rd floor of our Sequoia building in Walnut Creek, we would ask that instead, you attend at our 2625, Shadelands Drive Walnut Creek facility, which is open as normal.

For Physical Therapy patients, if you would like to enquire about a tele-rehab visit (PT via video conference), please call our Redwood PT clinic directly on 925 210-8500.

Stay healthy, friends ...

Thursday March 19th update (8:20 am)

As a provider of essential healthcare services, our facilities remain open. If you have an orthopedic condition that cannot wait and you have an appointment or need to make one, please call us to confirm your appointment, as long as you feel well enough to attend. We still recommend that if you show signs of respiratory illness, that you wear a mask to protect others when you go out. We continue to implement extremely thorough procedures (including additional disinfecting routines) to protect patients who are visiting for consultation and treatment.
Our Surgeons and Doctors are available by telephone if you require advice on whether you should be treated immediately or if your condition can wait 2 weeks. We know that orthopedic conditions can cause severe pain, and that some conditions may worsen if not treated right away. We encourage you to speak with your Orthopedic Care Team if you are unsure what to do. Reach them on 925 939-8585.
Our Urgent Care facility and Sequoia Surgical Pavilion also remain open. Please read our appointment and visitor policies below. We remain here for you and are working hard to protect patients who need to visit us for care.
Stay well :)
