Join the MOS Bone Brigade at Civic Park in Walnut Creek at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6 to aid in the fight against Alzheimer’s
In support of the Alzheimer’s Association’s vision, A world without Alzheimer’s disease, Muir Orthopaedic Specialists employees will participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
In one way or another, Alzheimer’s has affected many of our patients and members of our organization, whether it’s caring for a loved family member or friend, says MOS Bone Brigade team leader, Suzanne Thompson.
Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia (a disease that affects the brain) and is the sixth-leading cause of death in the U.S. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research and care, and is held annually in more than 600 communities across the country.
The MOS Bone Brigade team, along with other East Bay participants, will be walking to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association, whose mission is to promote awareness, advance research, and provide care and support to those affected by Alzheimer’s.
