Dr. Knight grew up in Lafayette, CA, and had many orthopedic injuries himself during his time playing sports. He decided orthopedics would be a fun career to pursue after graduating from Acalanes High School.
Receiving his B.S. degree in Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley, he attended the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Returning to the Bay Area, Dr. Knight did his internship at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco. After completing his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, he started his practice in Walnut Creek and Danville in 1983.
Dr. Knight's goal is to provide each patient with a full and complete evaluation of their orthopedic problem, to discuss all treatment options and to quickly return to his patients to a healthy, pain free active lifestyle.
